Subject: RTID Project List-I-90 two way center lane transit project

Dear RTID Staff,
The Project list (12/12/02) on your website mistakenly states that the I-90 project FEIS is now underway.  The scoping meetings for the DEIS were in 12/01, the DEIS was promised in the summer then the fall of 2002.  The actual Sound Transit DEIS is due April 5, 2003 with the stated planned FEIS planned for late 2003.
According to Agnes McGovern, REX director there will not be a Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA) included in the DEIS.
RTID should correct the misinformation on the FEIS being underway, and list the I-90 project cost in a range of Sound Transit's (RTA plan) estimate of $20-$80 million to allow for consideration of a range of alternatives during the SEPA and NEPA process. The current RTID listing biases the consideration of a broad range of alternatives.
Thank you for providing the RTID website information.
Yours truly,
Virginia Gunby, Member
I-90 (two-way-center lane) Coalition,
